Special
Wedding Ceremonies
Special Wedding ceremonies can be anything that you can imagine, including
commitment ceremonies for those who have already married overseas or those who
cannot be legally married. I have undertaken many ceremonies that required
some special elements or consideration, and really enjoy couples who I see truly love
each expressed in a wonderful ceremony.
Overseas Weddings are one ceremony that I am often asked to perform.
As a second ceremony for couples who
have been married overseas without close family and friends in attendance the
local ceremony is usually more sentimental. I
explain that I can't remarry them if they are already legally married but I can do a Renewal of Vows. I encourage
them to repeat their original vows with slight variation to fit into Renewal
criteria.
Spring Weddings are the perfect
time of the year but can also be very busy and some days can be booked out a
year or more in advance. Weddings in Spring can be perfect and the best
thing about spring weddings is that the temperature and weather are often
perfect and there is plenty of natural light for great outdoor wedding photos in
beautiful garden settings. If you are thinking about a spring or September
wedding I strongly recommend it.
Same sex couples are not able to marry in Australia but a
Commitment
ceremony gives them a chance to declare their relationship publicly. I encourage
family members to take a part in the ceremony if they are comfortable with this.
I have many more ceremonies
available to my couples, I have just added a small number of example ceremonies to help you plan your
ceremony, if you want to know more about these ceremonies please contact Janet
and discuss your plans.
