Perfect Day

Last year I married a couple who were children together in Malaysia. He always loved Tani but he was never courageous enough to let her know. She married and remained in Sarawak and he emigrated to Australia.

He never forgot her.

Several years later he was involved in serious car accident and ended up in a large public hospital in Sydney.  When he woke up several days later who should be at his bedside but Tani who by this time was an intensive care nurse employed at the hospital.

She was now divorced and their relationship blossomed as he underwent rehabilitation.

They then moved to Brisbane where I had the pleasure of being the celebrant for their wedding. 

It is one of the most cherished memories of my celebrant life.
